About our ticket system
While e-tickets are supposed to make everything easier, it is often not the case in practice. While we've built this system to be as easy to use as possible, we hope this information will help make it even easier.
In-person ticket sales
Head on down to High Level, buy yourself a ticket and a few for your family and friends, then head back home and pop them in a drawer for later. As the gig approaches, pass on tickets to your family and friends, and if any can't come, sell the ticket(s) to someone else. When you get to the gig, hand over your ticket and get a wristband for access.
Online ticket sales
Buying tickets
On our online system, you select the number of tickets you want to buy (up to 10 at a time), enter the names and dates of birth of the attendees, then click Buy Now. You'll be redirected to the Stripe payment gateway where you should enter your email address (where you want your e-ticket to be delivered - check it twice!) and payment details.
Once payment is complete, you'll receive an email from us with your e-ticket. This is a QR code, which holds all the tickets purchased in your order. It is as if you'd just bought a bunch of physical tickets. If you don't do anything else, all the people listed on the e-ticket will need to arrive at the gig with you.
We'd recommend that you take a screenshot of your order email in case there are issues with internet access at the event. You should make sure both the QR code and the information at the very bottom of the email are captured. If you don't plan on taking your phone with you on the night, you can always print your order email and take that with you.
Managing your order
If you want to pass tickets onto family and friends (who won't be arriving with you) or have sold some on, you can click on Manage Your Order in your order confirmation email to update details. You can change the names and dates of birth on your tickets, and can add an Order Email for them, which is the way you can send the tickets to others.
Once you have made changes to your order, you'll get an email with a summary of the changes requested and a link to confirm them. When confirmed, changes to ticket details that are staying on your order will happen instantly. If you are sending tickets to other emails, those email addresses receive an email notifying them that you've sent the ticket(s) their way and link to confirm. Any changes, including sending tickets, must be confirmed within 24 hours of the changes being made.
If they confirm, the ticket(s) are moved to a new order and they'll get sent a new e-ticket that holds the ticket(s) you've sent them. You won't be able to access these ticket(s) any more and they won't appear on your order.
If they don't confirm with the 24 hour window, the tickets will appear back in your order. You can always try sending them again!
Arriving at the gig
When you arrive at the gig, please have your e-ticket (QR Code) ready for scanning by door staff. It can be on your phone or printed.
If you've purchased multiple tickets, please make sure that the attendees listed on your e-ticket are with you. You can always check who is on your order by clicking the Manage Your Order button on your confirmation email.
Once scanned, you and your group will each get a wristband for access.
FAQs
Why do we need to give you names and dates of birth?
We need this to ensure attendees are eligible to attend. We will not share this information with anyone outwith event staff, and it will be deleted after the event.
As noted in our Terms & Conditions, door staff will ID at their discretion and any IDs that don't match ticket details will result in entry being denied.
I'm buying for a group, but I don't know the details of everyone coming yet. What do I do?
At the time of purchase you can add placeholder details (e.g. Person 1 01/01/1990) to our system. Once you know who is coming, update the tickets with the details for each person. It's your responsibility to make sure that the attendee details are correct on your order, but it only matters at the time of attending the gig.
I can't find my confirmation e-ticket thingy email, please help!
We've got you covered. Pop your order email into this form and we'll send you copies!
I've got multiple orders, can I combine them into a single e-ticket?
Sorry, orders cannot be combined. You can either have each e-ticket ready for scanning at the door, or send tickets to the other attendees and just keep the e-ticket with your name on it.
Help! My friend is running late and cannot arrive at the gig with me. How do I get their ticket to them?
Unfortunately order management closes when the gig starts. In this case, you'll need to wait until they arrive. Sorry!
If you have any questions or queries about your order(s), or are needing a bit of help, please send an email with as much information as you can to tickets@firstfootsoldiers.com. We can't guarantee a quick response, but we will get back to you!
